Commission a Portrait of Your Dog

For each commissioned dog painting I have an in-person appointment with you and your dog, or a lengthy conversation. I talk to you, interact with your dog, sketch, and photograph your dog in its home environment. If your dog is not available for a personal interview, you provide me with photographs.

I then work in the studio until I feel the painting is ready for feedback. I email you photos of the painting as it develops, so that you can give feedback and suggestions along the way. Once the adjustments are complete and you are completely satisfied with the end product, I arrange for you pick it up at your convenience.

I am willing to work on a painting for as long as it takes to create a piece that you are happy with.  See below for examples of a work in progress, and current prices.  To commission a portrait, please contact me. Please note that I request a 25% deposit on all orders.

10% of all purchases goes to one of several rescue organizations- either one of those listed here or the rescue group of your choice.
