My Dog is a Star

For each commissioned dog painting I have an in-person appointment with you and your dog, or a lengthy conversation. I talk to you, interact with your dog, sketch, and photograph your dog in its home environment. If your dog is not available for a personal interview, you provide me with photographs.

I then work in the studio until I feel the painting is ready for feedback. I arrange for you to view it in person or from a photograph, providing you with an opportunity to suggest changes for the finished piece. Once the adjustments are complete (if any) and you are completely satisfied with the end product, I arrange for you pick it up at your convenience. I am willing to work on a painting for as long as it takes to create a piece that you are happy with.

I email you with images as the painting develops, and welcome your suggestions along the way, in order to create the painting that YOU want. Examples of a work in progress, and current prices:

Final

Your wonderful dog painting of Dinah and Dakota is hanging in my dining room, making me smile every time I look at it. Without actually seeing them, you captured their individuality.
